                      Ch. 2 - Strategic Planning for Competitive Advantage 


                                  As we all may know Red Bull been in the market for a long time. In 1976 the first drink was created and was successful. It was sold in Southeast Asia, China and 165 other countries   Red bull knew that it was going to have a huge impact in the market. 
                     

                      The way the logo was create was because Red Bull was associated with  Muay Thai (Thai kick boxing).  For every kick boxing fight  there was Red Bull  promoting them self and part of it every fighter that was fighting that day was drinking Red Bull.

                        
                     Red Bull knew that they have to do something different something that would make them bigger and make them stand out. 
 In 1987 The company  decide to modified the ingredients to suit tastes of Westerners. Giving the fans something new something suit. Not only the entire recipe was change but the way it look change. They where not going to be associate with Muay thai Kick Boxing anymore. they decide to open up them self with new adventure. 

                          After so long Red Bull came out with some new ideas. The promotion team was working on a lot of different event something huge. One of the first even was Paper wing, (for the longest flying paper airplane) the Red Bull tricycle race.  Red bull Th3tyle, (Dj competition), Titan of Mavericks, (surfing) Snow Bound Aries and more. Ones of the biggest even that more people attend is the Red Bull Flugtag In 2012 more that 220,000 attending that day just to see the competition.
